- मधुबनी में फिर मंदिर बना चोरों का निशाना! उग्रनाथ महादेव सहित दो मंदिरों से 10 लाख के स्वर्णाभूषण चोरी
मधुबनी जिले में आस्था पर वार करने वाली एक बड़ी चोरी की वारदात सामने आई है। जिले के प्रसिद्ध उग्रनाथ महादेव मंदिर सहित दो मंदिरों को चोरों ने निशाना बनाते हुए करीब 10 लाख रुपये मूल्य के देव मुकुट और भगवान के स्वर्णाभूषण पर हाथ साफ कर दिया। यह घटना सकरी थाना क्षेत्र के भवानीपुर स्थित उग्रनाथ मंदिर की बताई जा रही है, जहां सुबह पूजा के समय पुजारी ने मंदिर का ताला टूटा देखा तो हड़कंप मच गया।
चोर न सिर्फ गर्भगृह तक पहुंचे, बल्कि दानपेटी को भी तोड़कर नकदी ले उड़े। हैरानी की बात यह है कि यह पहली बार नहीं है। इससे पहले 2 फरवरी 2023 को भी इसी उग्रनाथ महादेव मंदिर में चोरी हो चुकी है, जब देवी-देवताओं के आभूषण लेकर चोर फरार हो गए थे। लगातार हो रही घटनाओं से सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर गंभीर सवाल उठ रहे हैं। स्थानीय लोगों में आक्रोश है और वे मंदिरों में सुरक्षा बढ़ाने की मांग कर रहे हैं। पुलिस मामले की जांच में जुटी है और आसपास के सीसीटीवी फुटेज खंगाले जा रहे हैं। सवाल यह है कि आखिर आस्था के स्थलों पर बार-बार वार करने वाले चोर कब पकड़ में आएंगे? - Madhubani Temple Theft: Robbers Target Ugrnath Mahadev and Another Shrine, Gold Ornaments Worth ₹10 Lakh Stolen
- A major theft has shaken the religious community in Madhubani district after robbers targeted two temples, including the famous Ugrnath Mahadev Temple under the Sakri police station area. The thieves allegedly broke into the temples during the night and stole gold crowns and sacred ornaments belonging to the deities, valued at nearly ₹10 lakh.The incident came to light early in the morning when the temple priest arrived for daily पूजा and found the main door lock broken and the donation box damaged. The intruders reportedly reached the sanctum and removed the ornaments from the idols before fleeing the spot.What has raised serious concern is that this is not the first such incident. Earlier, on February 2, 2023, a similar theft had occurred at the same temple, when criminals escaped with jewellery of the देवी-देवताओं. Repeated attacks on religious places have triggered anger and fear among local residents, who are now demanding stronger security arrangements for temples.
Police have started an investigation and are scanning nearby CCTV footage to identify the culprits. The case has once again highlighted major gaps in night security around important religious sites in the district.
