धनबाद। वासेपुर में एक बार फिर अपराधियों के हौसले बुलंद नजर आए। वासेपुर के डॉन फहीम खान के ड्राइवर बबली को देर रात अज्ञात बाइक सवार दो अपराधियों ने गोली मार दी। घटना के बाद इलाके में अफरा-तफरी मच गई। घायल बबली को पहले धनबाद के निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां से उसकी गंभीर हालत को देखते हुए दुर्गापुर रेफर कर दिया गया है। डॉक्टरों के अनुसार उसकी स्थिति नाजुक बनी हुई है।
सूचना मिलते ही सिटी एसपी समेत पुलिस के वरीय अधिकारी मौके पर पहुंचे और जांच शुरू कर दी। पुलिस आसपास लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरों की फुटेज खंगाल रही है और हमलावरों की पहचान के लिए विशेष टीम गठित की गई है। प्रारंभिक जांच में आपसी रंजिश और गैंगवार की आशंका जताई जा रही है। सूत्रों का कहना है कि हाल के दिनों में वासेपुर और उसके आसपास सक्रिय गिरोहों के बीच तनाव बढ़ा हुआ था।
घटना के बाद पूरे इलाके में पुलिस गश्त बढ़ा दी गई है और संदिग्ध ठिकानों पर छापेमारी की जा रही है। इस वारदात से धनबाद में एक बार फिर गैंगवार शुरू होने की आशंका गहराने लगी है। पुलिस ने आम लोगों से शांति बनाए रखने और किसी भी संदिग्ध गतिविधि की सूचना तुरंत देने की अपील की है।

The attack took place in the Wasseypur area, triggering panic among residents. Babli sustained serious gunshot injuries and was initially rushed to a private hospital in Dhanbad. Due to his critical condition, doctors referred him to Durgapur for advanced treatment. Senior police officials, including the City SP, reached the spot soon after the incident and began an investigation. CCTV footage from nearby areas is being examined to identify the attackers and trace their escape route. Preliminary findings suggest the attack may be linked to old rivalry and possible gang-related enmity.
Following the incident, police have increased patrolling in sensitive areas of Dhanbad and launched raids at suspected hideouts. The shooting has raised fears of renewed gang war in the city, prompting authorities to remain on high alert.
